Self Care is the Best Care
By: Kamil Battle
Self-care has been defined as the process of taking care of oneself with behaviors that promote mental, physical and emotional well being. Self-care is important to maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself. It means doing things to take care of our minds, bodies, and souls by engaging in activities that promote well-being and reduce stress. Doing so enhances our ability to live fully, vibrantly, and effectively. The practice of self-care also reminds both you and others that your needs are valid and a priority. Self-care can be anything that is relaxing or calming for you such as baking, coloring, listening to music or getting a massage. The best and easiest way to get in some self care daily is your bath routine. Yep that's right, taking a little more care in your bathing routine is a quick and easy way to get self-care time daily and it is one self-care activity that can treat your physical, mental and emotional health all in one sitting. Adding a bath bomb, bath soaks or even some bubble bath can turn a simple bath into a relaxing self-care spa experience. Our Soak Infusions ( Fruity Nibbler and Grapefruit Splash Soaks ) give you the detox you need while softening and moisturizing your skin. Our bath bombs are also a great addition to enhance your bath time, try the Lavendar and White Sage or the Relax in Rose bath bombs for a relaxing and calming bath experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and your skin silky smooth. Not a bath person? No problem, we also offer products to elevate your shower experience into a self care oasis. The Lilac and Lavender body wash, Repair Bar Soap and the Turmeric and Honey Emulsified Scrub are all great additions to your shower. These are just a few of the products that can turn a regular shower into a more calming and stress relieving self-care experience. No matter what you use or what you choose to do, practicing self-care daily is important in being the healthiest version of yourself and remember to never feel guilty or selfish for taking that extra time, money and/or energy to care for and replenish yourself. After all, Self-Care is the best care.
